Teaching Values to Children

Moral development theory states that children’s value systems are defined by the time they are ten (10) years of age. These values determine the decisions they make regarding right and wrong, following laws and rules, actions with and against other people.

  • How do children develop their value systems?
  • Who has the greatest teaching impact on them during the first ten (10) years of their life?
  • Can their value system change as they mature into adulthood?
  • What is the role of the men who serve in the position of "Father" to children whether as their Biological Father, Stepfather, Grandfather, Foster Father?

Facilitated by Dr. Deylyne McCampbell, a Professional Trainer and member of The Stephan Center Training team, the issues of teaching values through modeling actions is discussed.
